Elevate Games were a huge success!

On Tuesday evening we held our third annual Elevate Games at Cisco Brewers in the Seaport. The rain held off and we ended up having absolutely beautiful weather.  We saw many familiar faces at the event which included many of our sponsors, volunteers, partners, board, and friends. We are also so thankful to everyone who was coming to their first Elevate Youth event. Thank you for your support and we hope to see you again soon!

The main event of the night was a cornhole tournament.  Every team put up quite the fight and showed a competitive edge, but only one team could be crowned the ultimate winners in the end… Congratulations to Greg and Melinda of “The Fly High Team”!  Many attendees also enjoyed a variety of oysters, clams, and octopus from the raw bar which was made possible by our friends at Ghost on the Shore.  Many people who weren’t eating fresh seafood enjoyed quesadillas and tacos from the Mexican food truck, or a shrimp basket from the Clam shack. Nearly all used a free drink ticket to get a refreshing beer or frozen sangria, all made by Cisco Brewers of Nantucket.  Those of us that did not play cornhole channeled our competitive energy into a friendly game of giant Connect 4, or tried our luck winning one of the many incredible auction items.

This event truly would not have been possible without all the generous organizations and people helping out behind the scenes.  We are so thankful to all of our sponsors at Audax, Accenture, Atomic Coffee, Cartesian, GenCon, Loomis Sayles, MassBio, Point32Health, Plover, Newcastle, and Vimeo for their ongoing support of our mission.  We were happy to see many spectators and cornhole participants from each organization at the event. It was beyond fulfilling to meet everyone in-person and continue to form meaningful connections.

Overall, the event was a huge success!  There were 103 attendees from at least 12 different organizations, as well as many individuals who came out to support as spectators. Your generous donations and ticket purchases helped us to raise over $40,000 overall! Our sponsorships raised $30,000 and all bids from the auction raised $10,000.

We hope that this event will only continue to grow in the future along with the support of our Boston community. There are still ongoing opportunities available to help Elevate Youth by donating online, or by volunteering if you are looking to be more hands on. We are always looking for caring, kind, and positive adult mentors. You can apply to be an Outdoor Mentor with Elevate Youth here: https://forms.monday.com/forms/b32c273af186a25d90e7bc6bba449986?r=use1!  Again, thank you for coming to the 2023 Elevate Games, we hope to see you all again in 2024!
